Thintuition
Geez, almost forgot … I’m incorporating a third element into my new “way of life” (WOL), to steal a term from my old days in low-carbland.
It’s called Thintuition, and it teaches you how to listen to your body to determine when to eat, when not to eat, and most important, how much to eat.
The site does a much better job explaining it than I do, so by all means, go there and read up on it. And if you’re thinking about how you’re going to keep all of the weight off that you’ve lost through exercise and diet, Smart for Life, or another diet plan, I’d recommend using this route.
One thing I’m not sure of, though, is how well this would work for most people to actually lose weight. I personally think you probably have to lose most of the weight you want to lose before switching over to this exclusively. But I can see using these principals while you’re on your plan. For example, I’m now using it in conjunction with S4L. And I know that between the small meals S4L promotes and the “mind training” (for lack of a better term) Thintuition provides, I’ll be able to take off the weight easier than without it. What’s more, I’ll be able to keep it off when I get to goal.
By the way, I’m almost to my half-way point, in terms of lost poundage. Just thought I’d mention it.
