Thintuition
Geez, almost forgot … I’m incorporating a third element into my new “way of life” (WOL), to steal a term from my old days in low-carbland.
It’s called Thintuition, and it teaches you how to listen to your body to determine when to eat, when not to eat, and most important, how much to eat.
The site does a much better job explaining it than I do, so by all means, go there and read up on it. And if you’re thinking about how you’re going to keep all of the weight off that you’ve lost through exercise and diet, Smart for Life, or another diet plan, I’d recommend using this route.
One thing I’m not sure of, though, is how well this would work for most people to actually lose weight. I personally think you probably have to lose most of the weight you want to lose before switching over to this exclusively. But I can see using these principals while you’re on your plan. For example, I’m now using it in conjunction with S4L. And I know that between the small meals S4L promotes and the “mind training” (for lack of a better term) Thintuition provides, I’ll be able to take off the weight easier than without it. What’s more, I’ll be able to keep it off when I get to goal.
By the way, I’m almost to my half-way point, in terms of lost poundage. Just thought I’d mention it.

It’s Meeeeeeee!
Hey there! Or as they’d say in Wisconsin, Hey Dehr!
For those following me from Gizmosherpa, this is the new blog. With a cool title, eh? (That’s more Minnesotan, or Canadian.) Maybe? Maybe … not so much? Oh well, I tried.
(Transition to third person) If you’re brand new here, you’ve discovered the blog of a guy who is using the Smart for Life plan to lose weight. He’s also using the Turbulence Training plan to get fit.
(Back to first person) I’m going to soon be importing contents from my old blog, so you can see how well I’ve done so far. And yes, I’ve done pretty well – 60 lbs. lost in almost 4 months.
Up until now, I’ve mainly been doing S4L. I’ve just started incorporating TT. When I import my old posts Now that I’ve imported my old posts, you’ll see why this is kind of a big deal. So for now, just stand by and I’ll have them over in a day or two. Enjoy the old posts, and I’ll have more up soon, starting with tomorrow morning.
Thanks for visiting, and I leave you with a question to ponder. Why does the spell checker at a blog site (like, say, oh, WordPress) always pick the word “blog” as being potentially misspelled? Discuss.
